LERNER DID NOT TAKE THE 5TH!

WASHINGTON — As usual, the so-called mainstream media have gotten it all wrong.

Everybody from the Huffington Post, The New York Times, CNN, Fox News (which has never been mainstream) -- everybody got it wrong. Especially Rush Limbaugh, who, by the way is running for president.

They reported that Lois Lerner, the IRS official tasked with prosecuting the Tea Party, declined to testify in front of an investigating committee of the House of Representatives chaired by Congressman Darrell Issa (obviously trained as a prosecutor by the Star Chamber Folks of yore), exercising her constitutional right not to incriminate herself under the Fifth Amendment.

In an exclusive report filed by a solitary reporter, the entire matter has now been clarified.

Lerner did not take the Fifth. She exercised her rights under the Second Amendment.

We'll just leave it at that for the time being.
