KERRY, ROUHANI HOLD HANDS IN ST. PETER'S SQUARE

VATICAN CITY – After Pope Francis reverentially blessed, and for the first time publicly displayed, the bones of St. Peter earlier today, millions of Protestants (including a solitary reporter) from around the world, joined by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, flocked to St. Peter's Square to be embraced in the Maternal Arms of Mother Church.

Secretary of State John Kerry was there as well, holding hands with Rouhani to celebrate the signing of an agreement temporarily reducing sanctions against Iran in exchange for Iran's promise temporarily to quit making trouble in and around Persia.

However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not observed in the Square. In his office in Jerusalem, he was engaged in an intense conversation with New York's senior senator, Charles Schumer.
