As Politico’s Annie Karni reported earlier today (http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/11/steve-bannon-war-republicans-jared-kushner-responds-243681), Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to whom Trump has given a portfolio of just about everything, has congratulated former Trump brain and chief strategist Steve Bannon on Bannon’s plans to challenge every Republican senator up for re-election next year except for — hmmmmm — Ted Cruz (what does that tell you)?
That’s why associate solitary reporter Johanna Jones wasn’t surprised to learn that Bannon, now running Breitbart News again, has hired Kushner, thus prying Kushner away from the White House.
“The hours were just too long,” Kushner told Jones, "and I wasn’t able to spend enough time with Ivanka and the kids.”
“This way, all I have to do is help Bannon fuel his hate machine, and I’ll be in good shape, plus Ivanka and I will be living in Los Angeles, where Breitbart is based, so I can avoid the dreary Washington weather, and I won’t have to live in Washington on Kalorama near Barack and Michelle."
