Putin Gives Crimea to Xi

In 1997, the UK, pursuant to treaty, turned over Hong Kong to China. As part of the transfer, China agreed to continue to respect Hong Kong’s autonomy and independence, especially its independent judiciary.

But that’s all changed now, because China has passed a law providing that it can extradite persons accused of crimes in Hong Kong to China, where justice is opaque.

That’s why there are huge protests going on in Hong Kong, one of the most densely populated areas in the world. The UK’s last governor general has openly stated that China has violated its agreement.

Crimea, which Russia annexed from Ukraine illegally in 2014, is much larger geographically than Hong Kong.

Xi Jingping and Vladimir Putin recently held a summit in Moscow, and associate solitary reporter Foma Kheroshonsky attended all their secret meetings. He tells us that Putin told Xi, “Jingping, my good friend in totalitarianism, I’m sick and tired of everybody complaining about my annexation of Crimea, where most of the people speak Russian and not Ukrainian, so I want to give Crimea to you. That’s because you are doing a really good job of doing illegal things in your country, like making illegal artificial islands in the South China Sea.”

Xi was not expectiing this, so he immediately suspected something in the nature of a Russian trap, but he smiled and winked as he told ASR Kheroshonsky that he would be taking a victory lap to Sevastopol, the largest city in Crimea, within a few days.
