All eyes are on the Palmetto State today, and especially tomorrow.
And none of this has to do, except peripherally, with South Carolina’s former Gov, Donald Trump’s close personal friend Nikki Haley, one of the few Trumpers who left his chaotic administration on her own terms, and who is morally far better than Mike Pompeo, her likely opponent in 2024.
It’s Do or Die for Joe Biden.
Here we go:
Numero Uno: Biden, by 12 points, in large part because of Rep. Jim Clybrun (Last Hurrah for Jim and Joe?)
Numero Duo: Old Bernie, the guy many Dems are desperate to stop
Numero Tres: Tom Steyer
Numero Quatro: Elizabeth Warren (who may lose her own state of Massachusetts on Tuesday, to Bernie)
Numero Cinco: Amy Klobuchar (our candidate, probably running for VP, who may lose her own state of Minnesota, on Tuesday)
Numero Seis: Pete Buttigieg
Numero Siete: Tulsi Gabbard (who may have left for Syria to hang out with Bashar al-Assad, whom she has met before…)
Bloomberg? Not on the ballot in SC, just wait ’til Tuesday, when he’ll be everywhere.
