Longtime loudmouth Lou Dobbs, a commentator originally with CNN, but more recently with Fox, had it coming.
He’s a devoted Trumpite, who, like a lemming, has consistently followed Trump off the cliffs of falsehood, and just got his worthless show stopped by Fox Business News (https://www.gmtoday.com/business/fox-business-cancels-lou-dobbs-tonight-after-a-decade/article_616d7078-687a-11eb-acbc-ef41a88ebf2c.html).
To give him credit which he doesn’t in any way deserve, Dobbs, though impossibly arrogant, is not as arrogant as Donald Trump, but hey, what kind of bar is involved in this thing anyway? We’re talking about the Dobbs/Trump alliance of many years, as Dobbs was a Birther just like Trump, and he promoted conspiracy theories even before Trump did.
Immediately after Trump supporters stormed the United States Capitol on January 6, Dobbs was among those who advanced the conspiracy theory that people associated with Antifa were responsible for the attack (https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/trump-loyalists-push-evidence-free-claims-antifa-activists-fueled-mob-n1253176).
It all comes around to those who deserve it the most, because Dobbs is one of three Fox Corporation program hosts named in a two billion seven hundred million dollar defamatioin suit relating to false conspiracy theories used to try to overturn the 2020 presidential election; plus, Smartmatic, a multinational company that builds and implements electronic voting system, has sued Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro, and Maria Bartiromo for making patently false claims about the integrity of Smartmatic’s methods of counting votes (https://deadline.com/2021/02/smartmatic-files-2-7-billion-defamation-lawsuit-against-fox-corp-1234687437/).
Associate solitary reporter Susanna Sherman has already spoken with the presiding Justice in New York State Supreme Court (trial level court), Justice Robert R. Reed, who received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1984 (http://ww2.nycourts.gov/courts/comdiv/ny/newyork_bio_Read.shtml).
Justice Reed assured Sherman that Justice will indeed be done in the Smartmatic case.
