The Supreme Court of the United States, which includes no fewer than three members of the McConnell Court, has refused Donald Trump’s most recent outrageous attempt to shield his undoubtedly very
complex tax returns from judicial scrutiny.
Why has The Donald fought so hard hard to protect his tax returns?
The words Corruption and Fraud immediately come to mind.
Meanwhile, President Biden’s nominee for Attorney General, Chief Judge Merrick Garland, had easy sailing yesterday as the President’s nominee to be the nation’s top law enforcement officer.
No doubt, the Republican senators on the Judiciary Committee were consumed by guilt over Moscow Mitch McConnell’s dirty trick in 2016 of denying Judge Garland even a hearing when President Obama
nominated him to succeed hard-right ideologue Anthonin Scalia on the Supreme Court.
So we sent our Chief Congressional Correspondent, associate solitary reporter Melissa Smith, to attend Judge Garland’s confirmation hearing.
She was the only one in the room who noticed that McConnell parachuted into the hearing room from an opening in the roof and shouted “Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa.”
